Rhododendron
Lake - Rhododendron Lake is located 19 km (12 mi)
southwest of the Island Highway near Nanoose Bay via the Northwest
Bay logging mainline. Steelhead, rainbow and cutthroat
trout have recently been stocked in the lake resulting in
good quality fishing, particularily during May-June and September-October.
Nearby Shelton (Echo) Lake provides BCFS
campsites, a cartop boat launch and is stocked with rainbow
trout.
