Location:
From the town of Houston travel
a few kms. west on Hwy. #16 and then turn south onto the Buck
Flats Road. Follow this road until you reach Parrott Lake Road.
Turn right onto Parrott Lake Road and follow it to the lake (actually
this is a chain of 4 small lakes all known as Parrott lakes).
There are connecting roads between the lakes.

Fishing
Report: Considered to be excellent family lakes, Parrott
lakes support good numbers of small wild Rainbow trout. Fly fishing
is the preferred method and the action can get fast and furious
for these feisty fish (especially on the smaller lakes). A great
spot to hone your presentation techniques or to introduce your
children to the art of fly fishing. Small in size these lakes

Goosly
Lake - Goosly Lake, situated east of the Parrott
lakes, is 241.6 ha. (596.7 ac.) in size with a maximum depth
of 20 m. (65.6 ft.), and lies at an elevation of 900 m. (2952
ft.). It is considered an excellent fly fishing lake for Cutthroat
and Rainbow trout. Mountain Whitefish and Kokanee are also found
in the lake. Cartop boats can be launched.
