 Bordered
to the west by the Strait of Georgia and to the south by the US/Canada
border, this region of British
Columbia also takes in the Sunshine Coast to the north to Butte Inlet.
From here it cuts east to Lillooet and the Cariboo
Chilcotin. This area may be accessed via the Sea to Sky Highway which
passes through the Whistler-Blackcomb resort area. Alternately, follow
the Fraser River through the Fraser Valley to the Fraser
Canyon, a stunning journey.
The
Southwestern BC region has ample areas to explore such as the ocean, mountains,
rivers, streams, many lakes
and untouched wilderness.
